During Sunday morning gatherings
9.30am & 11.15am
Engage groups meet during the 9.30am and 11.15am Sunday services at St Pauls and are for young people aged 11-14 (school years 7-9). Engage provides a fun and relevant space in which young people can discover more about their faith in a relevant way.
The 9.30am is a smaller group which provides a quieter space to meet with God. The 11.15am group is larger in number and therefore volume! Each group looks at the same topic but in ways appropriate to the group size.
Each Sunday we also enjoy breakfast and catching up together!
7.30pm - 9.30pm
The Hub meets on Tuesday evenings from 7.30 - 9.30pm and is a space for young people aged 14-18 (school years 10-13) to take time out from school, TV, the busyness of life, and grow deeper in their relationship with God. Each week we eat a variety of tasty (read sugary) treats, play pool, win and lose at team games, worship, a time of teaching, and gather in small groups to discuss and pray.
The Hub is a space to be equipped, re-energised and encouraged to live God-centred lives away from the church building.
7pm - 8.30pm
Friday Club meets each Friday evening from 7.00 - 8.30pm in Quench Youth Cafe at St Paul's Church. This group is for 11-14’s (school years 7-9) and is a great space to invite friends who are in the early stages of wondering about faith. Each evening has a theme and the games, craft and discussion are based upon this theme.
Friday Club is the only youth group with a tuck shop and we also have craft, team games, challenges, and lots of fun!
Holidays / Camps
Each year there is a youth group residential, usually to a local outdoor activity centre. We enjoy doing many outdoor, high-up, low-down, team-building activities and learn some more about God together too
During the summer our 14-18’s regularly attend Soul Survivor, a Christian youth event, full of great speakers, bands, seminars and worship.
There are also CPAS Ventures and Scripture Union summer camps running throughout the holidays which many young people attend.
